A Comprehensive Asbestos Survey is conducted to locate and identify building materials within a building that may contain asbestos which may be disturbed during any renovations and/or building demolition. This survey is performed in accordance with Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) requirements, and consists of a building evaluation and collection of multiple samples of suspect ACMs. Upon receipt of the analytical results, the data is reviewed and a report is prepared. The report provides a description of the property, the scope of work and protocol used, a discussion of the assessment risk, and controls of asbestos, descriptions of materials identified and sampled, laboratory analytical results, figures (floor plans) showing the location of each sample, photographs of each material sampled, estimated costs for abatement actions, and conclusions and recommendations.
